ABOUT SAINTS OF TRAGEDY
The band was formed was formed back prior to 1993, by Artists Gene Rondina and Nick Bonney. Many influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Doors, pink Floyd, AC/DC, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, shaped the course of the Saints music.
Rondina, a Rhode Island native is an accomplished guitarist, bassist, pianist, and owner of Rondina Productions Inc., the studio in which the Saints of Tragedy produces all of their music and offers production services for independent artists under the RPI label. Rondina now resides with his family in the State of Georgia.
Bonney, a Massachusetts native, is a skilled vocalist and guitarist. Bonney's influences include Jim Morrison, Phil Anselmo, and Roger Waters.
Bonney now lives in Rhode Island with his son and is a partner in RPI.
As of 2008, The Saints have produced two albums with their third due to be released in the coming year.
What does Saints of Tragedy mean:
The concept behind the name is a person who possess the ability to stand firm in the face of adversity and to step up when others have needs greater than his own.
