Born Viengxay Vongphakham in her native country of Laos, this vivacious and exotic beauty has always taken pride in her candor, tenacity, and heritage. Being Laotion and Thai, her charisma and diversity strives to make a mark in this industry.
Born on September of 1984, Viengxay (or simply V, as she is more commonly known), moved to Santa Rosa, California in the spring of 1986 with her parents, who had hopes of raising their child within the American dream.
As she grew older, V did not waste any time in applying herself to the challenges that life had in store. Continually inspired by her mother, she continues to take on obstacles with a burning passion, to complete the task at hand at any cost.
She was raised with a purpose in life, to do her best at whatever she does, remain humble, and let her results speak for itself. V welcomes any challenge, as challenges keep life exciting. This philosophy was most of the reason behind her accepting the marketing niche as a steady career. Some accomplishments include the marketing of bay area artist Champ Bailey to a number 1 single in the bay area, the promotion of up and coming stars, Prophet and Grown Mo, producers H20z, club scene company and designs Teruo Clothing, and the hip hop music portion of MySpace.com which has already grown to over millions of registered users. Recently, she extended her marketing skills to big concerts as well, promoting jazz and rock guitarist Larry Coryells legendary retrospective show held at the Avalon in Hollywood, California. Along with taking on a role as a production manager and set director for an up and coming short called Yigger directed by Koji Sakai and his partner.
With this at hand, V developed a company called V Productions, which derive on marketing, promotions, artist representative, events, productions and talent bookings.
V is proud of her work and she does in the attempt to bring the bay area entertainment to the national scene, her passion is in the arts, and now feels she can challenge herself even further. A dancer and fitness instructor for 8 years, she has challenged herself in front of the camera, whether it be a host, dancer, model, or whatever is needed of her talent, but a desire to extend on that path. There are no limits.
