About Me

I love Sunny, cool days. The smell of flowers blooming and the sound of birds singing. I love acting crazy with my family while singing Christmas or Christian songs. I love eating Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner, New's Year Dinner, Momma's Dinner (okay! I just like food). I love the One who has made the day (It's Jesus:)) And I want to love Him more.I love those moments when you are worshiping God and all of sudden you realize how great He is and you become so overwhelmed that you can't help but proclaim it. The amazing thing is ten minutes prior, I was making my circumstances bigger than God. Through worship, God became magnified in me.***I love banana pudding ice cream. (Well, I really like it. Those cookies are great!)I love to laugh. I love to see other people laugh.Sometimes, I like to laugh at people. (They know who they are.)***I love the stories of people. Some in books but mostly the stories of people around me. The stories like my friends who stepped out in ministry (Kevin) or the ones moved to other cities by the leading of the Holy Spirit (Rachel). Stories like my friend who waited seven years for the women he loved (Scott and Becca). He told her that he would be at her wedding one way or another. He would either be the groom or watch her marry another man. They are married today. Stories of people's lives being totally transformed by the power of God (Mine and Hopefully Yours).**************Wow! I think I just made myself Happy! I need to read that again.***Or just watching the 70-something year-old couple at Lowe's whose touch and glance at each other is still filled with an undeniable passion and consideration for each other. Wow! That's a beautiful thing to see. This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

My Interests

For a while, I have been interested in learning Spanish and sewing. (I think Univision and Project Runway had a major affect on me:)

I'd like to meet:

Other than seeing Jesus Christ face to face (Wow, It's odd for me to write anything after this because I know I don't truly realize the magnitude of the previous statement but I know there is a greatness and expectancy that I can not deny in seeing His face.)************** I would like to meet Maya Angelou, Condoleezza Rice, T.D. and Serita Jakes, Judy Jacobs and many others that I can't think of right now.

Music:

Nicole C. Mullen, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Jeremy Bowser, Jessie (Rogers) Goodman, Kelanie Gloeckler, Kirk Franklin, Shekinah Glory Ministry and I even like the Crabb Family because they are so passionate.

Movies:

If the day went well and I don't have a lot going on, I can go deep with the best of them. On those days, a drama is cool. If the week been busy and there is a lot on my plate, a no-brainer is necessary because my brain may explode if I have to think about one more thing. A comedy is required.

Television:

Fashion Runway, What Not To Wear, Alias

Books:

I have read a lot of good books (or half of books) over the years. Other than the Bible, Hinds Feet in High Places really had a rememberable impact on my life.

Heroes:

Any person willing to take a stand and be obedient to the easy and hard things God has called them to do. Those are the ones that have changed my life. Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King, Martin Luther, my parents, my grandmother, my pastors,Bishop Zink and Sharon, Elder Nix and so many others I will never know about until heaven.
