About Me

I care about other people and making a difference. I take initiative and appreciate the company of other people who do the same. I am working to make things better every day, both personally and professionally. I am often misunderstood, and I regret that. I am the best friend you will ever have or the most vicious enemy. I am passionate about everything I do because I don't have the attention span to live any other way. I am happy. I appreciate interesting people, even if I don’t always like them. I work hard and smart, and I resent people who don't. I am honest with people who are honest with me. I am obsessed with good quotes; they inspire me when I need it. I don’t like explaining anything more than once. I am genuinely invested in the success of those around me. I believe in the abundance of the world and know I don’t have to fight with anyone to make a dollar, there is plenty for all. I know what's wrong with me, but I also know what's right. I have trouble with subtlety, sometimes I need things spelled out. I am not shy. I have read A LOT of business books. I don’t measure my success by how people are doing around me, I look inside. I do not judge other people. I take my fun very seriously. I am a DJ and that is about 1% of who I am, although it is the most visible 1%.

My Interests

Mixing, Rafting, Wakeboarding, Kayaking, Snowboarding, Skiing, Lifting & watching good movies.

Music:

I get bored with mainstream music. I just hear it so much and its such a big part of my job it is difficult to enjoy it on my time off. For a couple years now I have been obsessed with mashups and that's what I spend a lot of time listening to.

Movies:

The fifth Element, The Thomas Crown Affair, Oceans 11, The Matrix, Office Space, Boiler Room, O Brother Where Art Thou, Scratch, Pulp Fiction, Alfie, Sideways, Casino, Scarface, Bowling for Columbine, Closer, Fight Club, Manufacturing Consent, Sneakers, and All the Presidents Men.

Television:

The Daily Show & 60 minutes

Books:

It's hard for me to get into fiction so I'm mainly a business book guy... The Tipping Point, Primal Leadership, The Idea Virus are a few of my favorites. To list them all would take a long time. If it's a business book worth reading and it came out in the last 5 years it's pretty likely I read it. I have also read every book in The Road Less Traveled series, that's good stuff.

Heroes:

Mom, Dad, MLK, Jessica Clements
