Music is my life, philosophy also plays a big part. I'm quite left-wing. I have no religious affiliations; although I find aspects of virtually every religion interestng, there are few I actually have much respect for.
I'm a very rational person, perhaps even to the point of scepticism. It can annoy some people and be mistaken for narrow-mindedness, but that's their problem, not mine. If you respect my opinion, I'll respect yours... unless you're a total idiot.
I've been called an elitist in the past (particularly where music is concerned), and to be honest, there's probably a degree of truth to it. That doesn't mean however that I don't try to be open-minded.
Basically, if you have dubious taste in music, you may not want to bother talking to me because you might think I'm a bit of a prick (the irony of me being into Nirvana hasn't been lost on me, merely overlooked).
I occasionally design logos for bands, and I'm also into photography, but who isn't these days? Same goes for body mods.
I don't like alcohol, believe it or not. Gigs can be good but I'm not as mad about them as some; I've never been to a big festival and I don't plan to, except for perhaps OEF. Bloodstock and Wacken are gay.
As much as I like metal, most metalheads bore me senseless. Having said that, I find the great majority of people near enough intolerable anyway.
Oh and I hate writing these things, but tedium has driven me to it.
