Memories of tall skyscrapers and graffiti walls- seeing N.Y.C; THE HOME OF HIP HOP as a little kid hoping out the subway while his mother was really just trying to escape her husbands abusive path. THE STRUGGLE. HIP HOP IS EVERYWHERE. I AM MUSIC. My mother was a singer, my pops use to play percussions for alot of early Salsa boys down on the L.E.S. back in his day. Whatever the case might be, all that came to an end with my beginning. But the talent only became stronger and the desire to achieve a dream still unfulfilled was embedded in me. Thus, a seed of Yearning is born with the world in his hands, and with every decision chosen I RULE THE FUTURE My music is composed of everything I ever heard growing up; from old Fania records, to Curtis Mayfield, fuckin' oldies 101.5 to heavy metal at one time. NON-DIMENSIONAL- INSPIRATION IS INFINITE. I wrote my first rhyme in 93', a time in which Hip Hop was based upon skill, content and originality. Unlike todays front- all gimmicks, monkey see monkey do entertainment. "I'M WHAT THE INDUSTRY IS SCARED OF; REVOLUTIONARY GUIDANCE / EVER SINCE WE LOST BIGGIE AND PAC, Y'ALL BEEN STUCK ON THAT BLING BLING, P-DIDDY, MASE SHIT / FUCK WHAT YOU BOUGHT, TELL ME HOW YOUR MIND WORKS IN A SITUATION" Were at a point in "RAP" where money now speaks for the M.C. and nobody has anything different to say. Ain't no car, no chain, or any mansion gonna shut me up from the truth, it's just way too easy. I'm here to make these actors work for their money cause now they're getting paid for some old ABC shit and the shit that takes me nights to finish up can't even be understood because the peoples minds are to simple from listening to this "laffy taffy" shit for so long. Pop bottles and rock diamonds, yeah but who's pockets are you putting all that money back into at the end of the day? Not your people-your misguiding them, and giving the industry (which is not the "Hood") more money to think of different methods to use us against each other. We are our OWN worst enemy. Poor then institutionalized, then given millions to see how we wild out cause we never seen that...We just saw the pain...but we don't see what were doing. It's like blind fury-which in time will only destroy us; sort of like guilty pleasure. To me, Hip Hop never made it past the Twin Towers. It just became pure entertainment to steer the peoples minds away from reality, from the revolution before 2012. You better pick up a book- Bush is about to be the king of the fucking world. They don't need anybody stirring up chaos, telling this new generation to go against the machine - so I'ma fucking do it. The truth is, our freedom of speech is under surveillance, under the watchful eye of our anti-terrorist administration and even under consideration of being abolished because our Declaration of Independence is soon about to expire... and LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL. Don't get me wrong though, I love women, so of course I've got songs for them. I had my share in the streets so I'll share that with you as well. But at the end of the day you must have a purpose, a definition; what You truly represent. I've seen the ups and downs, the pros and cons of said "conscious rappers." You must have a balance though, everything in life is a balance-PERIOD. NAS: perhaps the best of our time, won that battle against Jay but at the end of the day lost the war because he failed to comply with the demands of the club scene. You gotta have shit for everybody, it's a hustle and not everybody's the same, different peoples have different likings. I DEAL WITH 360* SO IN REALITY, I'M GOING TO COME AT THE MASSES FROM ANGLES NEVER APPROACHED. THE WORLD IS TOO BIG TO BE STUCK ON ONE SUBJECT SO AS LONG AS IT TURNS, SO WILL MY PEN AND THESE PAGES. YOU CAN'T BRING HIP HOP "BACK" WHERE IT BELONGS, THAT MAKES NO SENSE. WE WISH AND WE KNOW WHAT WE MEAN BY THAT BUT WE CAN ONLY INTRODUCE A "NEW UNDERSTANDING" TO TODAYS LYRICISTS AND PERHAPS RE-INSTALL THE VALUES OF DEEPER THINKING, INDIVIDUALITY AND MOST OF ALL LEADERSHIP TO OUR LOST CULTURE. NOW LETS BRING HIP HOP BACK TO THE FUTURE.____
