Peroxyde started when Renaud got a guitar. He started playing guitar with his friend Stephen and started getting better. They forced Max into buying a bass so they could add an instrument. Renaud searched but could never find a drummer anywhere. He was desperate. One day he found out that Michael had an electric drum set that he never used. Renaud asked Mich to start playing and so he became the drummer. The idea of forming a band was nearly complete. They just needed a singer. Renaud started talking to Steven about trying to sing with them one day. (he had played with Steven a few times before as well). He decided to go practice with them and though at first they weren't very good, they got better as the weeks went by. We first tried playing covers by Blink 182, because we figured that they weren't very talented, and neither were we. So it should work out. It did not. So instead of covering songs, we just wrote some songs. It was as simple as that. So we played our first show on May 19th 2007 in Sherbrooke. It was fun. We still have the video. Our first show in Chateauguay was that September. It was badass. We played on the floor. I mean, that's pretty badass. It was a pretty intense show. Some kids got carted away to the hospital right after our set. HOW FUCKING RAD IS THAT? All was well for nearly one year, until a sudden change of heart occured, and Peroxyde lost two members, Max and Renaud. This lineup stayed around for just over a month, and played two dissimal shows at Café l'inco. Soon after, Max decided to join back as of december 16th. We continued playing shows during 2008, until september when we kicked max out. It was some pretty weird times. After about a week (and one messed up show) of Stephen playing bass, Renaud came back, this time with a bass. As of now, we're writing and perfecting new songs, and we will record new material in the next little while, so expect cool stuff. For show offers, show exchanges, booking us or just random shit, send us a message, write us a comment, or send an email to

Also, words of advice, a shitty show is better than no show, But a Supernova battle of the bands show is worse than no show.
