Originally from the Detroit & Chicago area now residing in Atlanta. This uniquely talented, up-and coming music Producer has a passion for making multiple styles of music; from Rap, R&B, Pop and more, L.A. Griff or more commonly “Griff.†Griff produces custom tracks for artists, not re-cycled copycat beats; tracks that fit your style. This producer/songwriter and music equipment techo wizard’s music style has been influenced by many mainstream producers, songwriters, and artists. Griff took the leap of faith with then partner Ed Owens to begin writing and recording songs for independent artists, hopefully leading to writing for major label artists. A few of these songs got played on the radio; from that point Griff was hooked on becoming a professional music producer. While Living in Dallas, TX, Griff met Quint Black (Producer/Artist), who was signed to Too Short/Jive Records and then later met Mr. Boomtown who ended up shooting Quint's music video for his hit single "Shake Dem Haters Off." Quint showed Griff the ropes and hooked him up with some industry contacts. In Late 2007, early 2008, Griff produced a song titled “Turn U Out†performed by Merc Squad, featuring multi-platinum R&B singer TQ, that made it’s way on to BDS tracked radio stations and has continued like a domino effect playing on cable channel’s “Music Choice†and radio stations domestically and internationally. Although, Griff has had some success he’s still striving for RIAA certified platinum plaques. He’s been busy crafting tracks, songs, and lyrics for up and coming independent and major label projects.
