You are listening to or about to listen to music unlike you've ever heard before. The songs we uploaded are from our latest CD "The End of an Empire and the Birth of a Wax Tadpole". This CD ends a trilogy fantasy concept we pioneered based on some of the first text based computer games that were invented. Thus the music of our first 3 CD's are said to have come from the fantasy land of ZOR. You can buy the CD here http://cdbaby.com/cd/montut
You can also download single songs from the CD (including the songs on this MySpace homepage) at the major services such as iTunes, Napster, and Rhapsody. Just search on "The Unemployed Teachers".
We are a New Jersey based band. Sometimes I perform solo accoustic gigs and sometimes with the full band. We had quite a following in Hoboken New Jersey years back when I was a college student. We had several of our songs played on college and communty radio stations and had a good following at Hoboken gigs. The songs we wrote at that time were released in limited production and then being bootlegged for many years there after. I am working on remastering and getting these out on CD for 2008. It's impossible to describe those songs! They are extremely varied in musical style. To get a feel for what the band is doing, visit our CDBaby pages to hear more of the songs. http://cdbaby.com/cd/montut
I also am currently recording a solo accoustic guitar CD and occasionaly play these songs at coffee house gigs in New Jersey. The CD will be called "The Rising" and is being recorded live with only 2 guitars and vocals. We are also working on establishing the next incarnation of the Band. After "The Rising" CD comes out, we will get out on the road with the full band and play some K A rock-n-roll. I'm really looking forward to this. For those of you who have seen us live, thanks for coming - we love you!!!
