Connected to the music world since the early age of five (with the singing, saxophone and guitar classes),it was at the age of 18 that Lady CC developed a closer relation with the music world, when she becomes a radio-dj at a station(Radio Madeira) in her hometown. One year later she moves to another station, Radio Club ( where she stays until October 2005) ,and where she starts directing the radio show Coral Sessions,for 3 years, together with dj Bubble. In this show, she interviewed some worldwide known dj’s and producers, such as Deep Dish, Solu Music, Paul van Dyk,Luke Solomon, Oscar g, Tiefshwarz, Tiga, Mo’ horizons, Steve Lawler,Peter Rauffer,Swirl People,Who da Funk,Strike Boys, Detroit Grand Pubahs , Sander Kleinenberg, Djulz, Dj Paulette, Danny Howels, Chris Coco, Bill Brewster, Adam Freemer,Guido Schneider, Narcotic Trust, Lexicon Avenue, Alex Kid, Llorca and also the portuguese icons Dj Vibe and Rui da Silva and many others. Her first gigs happenned in 2001 ,at the “chill – out sessions” in Alpha Club ,but only “took it more seriously” when she performed, the year after at “Prainha beach party”, beginning a freelancer career. Under that role ,she performed at the best bars and clubs at her hometown ,such as “Vespas”, “Molhe” and the extinguished “Monge “. In August 2002 she plays at the last party ,“Less is more...” of the “old” Café do Teatro and the invitation to become resident dj after the “new décor” comes up . She starts her weekly gigs at that ecletic club three months later, where she performed as a resident dj for 3 years and where she still holds some residencies. Even though she was the first Madeira lady to follow a dj carrer ,her gigs are not only local or even national. In the mainland (Lisbon), she played at the “Coral Lisbon sessions”, at “Number two” bar,“Código Laranja” , “OP Art” ,”Lei Seca “, “ Mexe Café “, “ Clube 47 “,"Domus", "Kozee", "Delmare Café "and in the north of Portugal, in o’Porto , at" Indústria","Iduna", “Zoo “, “Trintaeum” and “B-side” café; at “Montana” club, in Felgueiras,”The Summer Dance festival “,in Macedo de Cavaleiros, at the party “Madeira @ Algarve “ the “Golden girls” party and “ Stimpy Birthday party “at Estação da Luz in Aveiro ,” Semana Académica de Portalegre” and “Dance in Portalegre”,"Semana Académica do Monte da Caparica", between many other events .In her homeland, besides Café do Teatro, she played at bar Keops in the parties “Love in Summer” and at “Sunday stations” and “ Re-fresh” parties from her ex-agency Fresh- prod,N Y E parties, at Vespas,"Weekenddance @ greengrass",just to name a few. Lady CC became international in October 2005, when she played in the Spanish cities of Cádis and Sevilla ,in “Utopia” and “Catedral “clubs.She was one of the guest-djs at the party “We Luv...”,at Likwid,in Bahrein,during the Formula 1 Competitions ,at “The Grand Prix Electronic Music Extravaganza Festival”,March 2006, spinning in one of the after-parties and she also won the dj contest “ Sounds like Ibiza “, sponsored by the label “Amo-te “(Portugal) and “ Seat Portugal” , playing at “El Divino “ club- Ibiza, in the summer of 2006.Two years ago ,she performed at "Silk 'nd Spices "(Camden-London)at a private b'day party.She moves to Berlin in October 2007,she gets to play her 1st gig in Germany at CCCP club ,on Hallowen, where she still plays.Rodeo Club in Berlin is also one of the venues on her "spin list" In her many gigs she already " shared" the turntables with national and international names such as Michael C, To Ricciardi, Rui Vargas,Freshkitos, Miss Blondie,Full Metal funk,Zé Pedro Moura,Pinkboy, Del Costa, Peter G,Miss Sheila, Anthony Millard ,Lady B ,Dj Nacho , Stereonova ,Luke Solomon,Trevor Rockcliffe ,the French dj and producer Alex Kidd, Vitalic, M.A.N.D.Y, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Dk, Jona and some others. Finishing soon her degree in Communication and Cultural studies, she still manages to go on with her gigs.Four years ago she was nominated in the category of "Best Entertainment" for the "Gala Diário de Notícias(Madeira) and in 2006 she was nominated one of the top 5 sexiest female dj’s in Portugal for the “Dance Club Awards” ,while “Café do Teatro “ was also nominated for “Best bar”. Café do Teatro won 2 years ago, in the categorie of “Best Bar “ for the Portugal Night Awards.She also worked with the portuguese dj agency Stimpy and for the launch of the electronic music label “Hush Recordz “.
