Started playing with his father's Big Band at the very young age. Until now, his father is a trumpet player, band leader and musical arranger. Later he studied composition of 20th-century Avant-garde music with Dr. R. Walcott (USA) his compositions at that time were based and inspired on the works of Karlheinz Stockhausen,Pierre Boulez,John Cage,Arnold Schoenberg,Igor Stravinsky and Edgard Varèse. He took on drumming professionally after his graduation. Hybrid ideas always had a big impact on him. The original jazzrock movement that started at the end of the sixties wjith the legendary "Bitches Brew"sessions of Miles Davis was big inspiration . Later followed by Weather Report and the Zawinul Syndicate. Now it's time to make a new hybrid music for the 21st century."Nowadays a lot of music that people listen, dance and relax to is created by the DJ Culture, Basically producers that program, sequence & remix. It's his desire to use some of the ideas from this culture, but in a new context: with real instruments played by improvising musicians. That way people can relate to it because it sounds a little bit like what they already heard. While on the other hand it will broaden their horizons, hopefully. Electronics and processed sounds will be a part of the mix. As a musician he's not interested in using well-known song structures anymore. What he wants to achieve is to create a platform for improvistaion with room for individual expression, spontaneous interaction where nobody is really dictating of forcing the direction. Anything can be lift-off point for that: Grooves, Ambiences, Short and simple melodies or no melodies at all.Electronica music now a days are based on sounds,beats and machines. Now that's the big challenge for me to capture and searching for the nu energy the same way how jimi hendriks,duke ellington, john coltrane, charlie parker manage to grasp their own pace,and i hope i can contribute to the new and growing movement that marries contemporary jazz electronic music.
