For the most part, I am a homebody. I tend to be on the solitary side but I do like having friends over to watch movies or play board games. I also like to work on jigsaw puzzles, needlepoint and crochet projects. I like to have a neat living environment (which never seems to happen). I like cooking but hate the cleanup. I enjoy reading and generally have a book started, one I just completed, or both. I prefer fiction over non fiction but have found my interests are expanding to learning about old New York so I might start looking into books on that. I prefer small gatherings because I'd rather have an intimate conversation with 3 people than try to shout over 30.
I enjoy photography, not the type where you carry all that equipment around, but the 35 millimeter type. I like rainbows, and hot air balloons, and blue skies with white puffy clouds. I also like the rain, especially when its a warm summer day, and it leaves that fresh scent in the air. Or even when its cold and nasty outside, but you get to stay indoors and cuddle in your old clothes with hot cocoa, a warm blankie, and good conversation (or a good movie, or book). I like to travel, and generally have an "itch" to drive somewhere every time there is a nice weekend. There are so many things I haven't seen so I've been trying to plan a trip a year. The last few have been a roadtrip to Florida with a couple of detours to see areas of Virginia and North Carolina and most recently up to Maine with a detour in Salem, MA. I think this year will be a trip to Las Vegas (not likely to be a road trip though). I am hoping to see New Orleans one day.I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
