For all to know: this page is put up by Hans Graasvold fans! The genious himself will take over when he understands that the trancission from a cellullar phone to a PC is like from a melodeon to an accordeon. Help welcomed!
Here it goes:
Ever since Hans landed his first paid gig at the age of 12, he has been hooked on music. Since then he has been practicing, practicing and practicing.
Which is easy to hear...
Slightly to the right of the stage, casually dressed, with his persisting pedaling trademarks, his red basket ball shoes, playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar or 5-string banjo, and with a lit cigarette hanging from his lips -there you have Hans Graasvold, Norwegian string picker par exelence.
Hans is among the musicians who have played 'everywhere with everybody', from the small smoky taverns to the big festival scenes, and with all from childhood friends trough the Norwegian elite to international stars like Eric Weissberg, Bill Keith and Tom Paxton.
In Denmark Hans is maybe best known as a member of the band Bullmilk, who has played most major and minor festivals like Skagen, Midtfyn, Strib and Tønder.
Hans can not tell how many times he has appeared on radio and TV, and if you ask him how many CD's he has participated on the answer is: 'I believe it will add up to some times 10...'
