IN LOVING MEMORY OF RANDOLPH GRADDY, JR.
Randolph Graddy, Jr. was born on Friday, June 5, 1981 in Hampton, Virginia. He is the beloved son of Bernice and Randolph Graddy, Sr. and big brother to Aaryn J. Graddy.
He attended Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated in the class of 1999 from Hayfield High School in Alexandria, Virginia.
On May 28th, 2003, he married the love of his life, Tabitha Marie Oden
Randolph and Tabitha are the loving parents of Nathaniel, Jonnie and Joshua.
He was a skilled athlete who loved sports, and excelled in whatever sport he participated in at the time. Although he made his mark as a defensive end in football, sacking every quarterback he could get to and ruled the backcourt as a center in basketball, the love of his life was baseball.
A true and DIEHARD Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Dodgers & Los Angeles Lakers fan!!
Randolph was also a gifted artist and attended the Savannah College of Art and Design but returned to Alexandria after his freshman year.
Among his many talents was music!!
He was a writer and a true inspiration. He played a mean trombone too. Randolph enjoyed listening to Reggae, Rap, Jazz and Gospel.
He had a heart of gold and always took time to get to know the people in his community and held a special place in his heart for those less fortunate than he. He loved his family, his friends... and anyone who really knows him knows that he loved GOOD FOOD! He prided himself on his cooking abilities. He often referred to himself as the "Black Chef Boyardee" and cooked most meals for his family.
"The Boss"
His sons, his wife and his sister were the joy of his days and the inspiration to his commitment to success.
Randolph was his father's pride and joy...
& didn't get mad when you called him a "Momma's Boy."
Randolph touched many hearts and lives in the twenty-five shorty years God gave him on this earth. His legacy will live on through his sons, his wife, his family, friends and his music! He was loved and will be missed!
