The mouth that roared... It's like a fully loaded pistol. Aimed at an opponent, it's deadly... Aimed at the microphone, it's timeless....One Two, born in Peru, South America, made his way to the United States at the age of 7 and landed in Long Island, NY. Coming from a strong cultural background, he was always being exposed to his parents' record collection, which consisted mainly of Latin music. Through the precise rhythms, driving bass and soulful vocals, it was here that a young MC-to-be fell in love with music. Throughout "Strong Island", hip hop was unable to avoid at this time and he took a very strong liking to the artform at a young age. Being fascinated with the sound of the rappers, the bass heavy beats and the fashion styles, he consumed as much rap music as he could then. Four years later, his family moved to Connecticut and by the age of 13, he began to take on the art of freestyling. In 7th grade, he was already beginning to win battles against other kids at his school. He was hooked.Formerly known by the name of Fluid, as One Two a/k/a "Uno Dos" got older and sharpened his craft in the rap game, he began seriously getting into battling. He has won battles all over New England to D.C. back to Long Island and in particular, placed first in the Hartford City Emcee Battle and numerous battles spanning from Bridgeport to New London and all over CT. During high school, he used to make demo tapes and circulate them around to his friends and kids at the school. Word got out around about his tapes and his name eventually caught the attention of Apathy of the Demigodz. In 1998, he became part of the Demigodz family and has repped ever since, performing shows all over the northeast. He was featured on the first Demigodz collective release, "The Godz Must Be Crazy", The Demigodz, "The Godz Must be Crazier" album, Apathy's "Eastern Philosophy" album, Apathy and Celph Titled's "The Chrome Depot" and has toured with the Godz to Sweden for the Hultsfred Festival in 2002.The Demigodz have grown stronger and their family has become complete. One Two is an MC with determination, personality, accurate flow, and most importantly - decapitating lyrics. In true battle sense, emerges the victorious...
