People say that they have never met anyone so proud to be from Huddersfield, I suppose that's true, I do go on about it quite alot, I even had a Huddersfield themed party! However, I now live in Manchester and I love it here and plan to stay here when I graduate, but I'll always be a Yorkshire lass.
I like alot of Manchester music and in particular, The Smiths and I go to Smiths related nights quite a bit.
I am in my third year of Manchester University, studying Sociology, which I enjoy but have no idea what I want to do when I graduate. I would really love to work for an animal rights organisation as I've been a vegetarian since I was 8 and an on off vegan since i was 16 and it's something I fiercely believe in.
In my spare time I generally sit around with my housemates, Alison, Nick and Sophie and drink tea and watch tv. I also like going out and drinking quite alot, either going out disco dancing or drinking vino in a pub.
I really enjoy cooking, especially stews and soups and it makes me happy to cook for all my friends.
My football team of choice is Huddersfield Town, obviously..but I've become a bit of a Manchester City supporter too, living in Manchester and I also work at the City of Manchester Stadium.
I miss my cats when I'm at university, because you can't talk to them on the phone like people. I especially miss the silver one, Rolf who is the love of my life.
