About Me

Hiya my name is Emily and i am 24 years old. I am passionate about many things. I am a big history geek, i have a BA from Liverpool University and I want do a teaching course in primary education eventually. I have just finished working at H+M (i will miss the discount). I am now a creche worker and am going to volunteer in a primary school to make sure i get on a PGCE. I am also really in to football. My team is Man City and i love them, i have a season ticket. They test my patience sometimes (okay a lot of the time). The new stadium is beautiful although it doesn't quite have the same feel as maine road, i really miss maine road and the days of Shaun Goater when we actually won occasionally. I also hate hate hate hate hate hate hate United (AKA the scum) with a passion!!!. I feel a strong hatred towards Gary Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo in particular. Women that find Ronaldo attractive must have serious problems. I could happily punch him in the face if i ever came across him.I like chilling out with my mates, going to the cinema or to the pub, we get very competitive during the pub quiz. I also like to go out and get very drunk and have a boogie.
MySpace Glitter Graphics I love films, any thing really from girly chick flicks to Kevin Smith films (I love jason lee!!). My favourite Kevin Smith film is chasing Amy but any of them is good for a laugh. I am not really in to horror films. I am a total wuss when it comes to horror though as I was traumaitsed by chucky courtesy of my big brother when i was ickle so i don't like anything scary.I also like shopping especially for shoes and handbags, but hey what girl doesn't..I am quite a girly girl even though i love football. I love pink things!!!!I am also a big reader, i tend to read lots of different things. I am particualrly fond of Michael Moore (books and films). I like George Orwell, "1984" ia a must read. I have recently read Shaun Goater's autobiography which was wicked (what city fan wouldn't enjoy reading that). Send my pics and video to your cell phone!

Hmmmmm Nicky Weaver he is absoloutely gorgeous!!!I am gutted that he doesnt play for city anymore. I would love to meet michael moore think he's ace and really down to earth, it's cool that he manages to make a difference and stands up for what he believes in. On a realistic note anyone who shares any of my interests or just wants to say hello.

Music:

I like a bit of everything really. I was a total pop princess when i was younger (Take that, Boyzone, Ronan keating in particular as he's gorgeous. You've gotta love an irish accent).I'm loving the return of take that. I branched out as i got older. Thanks to my brother i like things like system of a down, NOFX, TENACIOUS D and coheed and cambria. He is always trying to get me in to heavier things but i'm not really in to really shouty stuff. I like RnB music and chart music. I love kanye west and usher, brandy, b2k.I like cheesey music like jackson five and the sorts of things you find on a night out in flares which i can drunkenly dance too. I like the fray, snow patrol, pink, The calling, maroon 5,the feeling, keane, REM, oasis, christina, pussycat dolls, kylie, sugarbabes all sorts really.

Movies:

I love the cinema and try as go as often as i can. Orange wednesdays rock!!!I am not too fussy about what films i see (although i hate horror) anything by Kevin Smith or including Jason Lee is good. Dirty dancing! Grease, Moulin rouge. Save the last dance, Take the lead. Shawshank redemption, Big Fish, Alfie, Bowling for columbine, American history X, Crash, the butterfly effect, closer, wicker park, napoleon dynamite, dodgeball, and many many more.

Television:

Hmm lets see Scrubs, Will and Grace, Sex and the City. The office, Ally Mcbeal, the simpsons, two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, girls of the playboy mansion,

Ugly Betty, Most haunted, extreme makeover home edition. All sorts really.Lots of eighties cartoons my little pony, care bears, strawberry shortcake and rainbow brite!!! I LOVED RAINBOW BRITE. It was such a nice cartoon.

Books:

Anything really!I like likehearted chick lit books when it's sunny but due to my interest in history can often be found with something heavy going.I'm loving torey hayden at the moment her books are amazing.

Heroes:

Shaun Goater is a legend i met him at a book signing and he was such a nice bloke. I also love Nicky Weaver. He is such a good goalkeeper and very very fit.
