Guitarist/producer Jake Langley is one of his generations most in demand musicians. His new CD Hear And Now with Sam Yahel (B3 Organ) and Ian Froman (drums) is now available.Jake spent 4 years touring internationally as a member of the Joey Defrancesco Trio and has 4 CDs out on the Alma/Universal Label including his latest Juno nominated CD "Movin and Groovin" with Joey Defrancesco and Byron Landham. Jake has performed and recorded with many of todays jazz legends including Bobby Hutcherson, George Coleman, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Steve Gadd, James Moody, Jimmy McGriff, Scott Hamilton as well as popular music icons Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainright, KD Lang and David Clayton Thomas. Jake won the Canadian National Jazz award in 2004,2005 and a Juno award for his contribution to Richard Underhill's Tales from the Blue Lounge" CD. Jake is an in demand session musician and has appeared on over 50 CDs as well as T.V. shows, jingles, and movie scores. Jake has also produced many critically acclaimed recordings and has composed music for film and television. Jake lives in new York City with his wife, actress Naomi Emmerson and produces music, plays on recordings, gigs, tours and likes to cook.
