We moved often and lived in many different places. As a child I hated moving all of the time, but looking back it was a good thing because it made me more out-going. In the spring of 68,while Dad was in Vietnam and my brother and sister were at school, we had a tornado. My mother took me to our storm shelter in our front yard. The tornado was in the field next to us. It left a lasting impression on me.
As I became a teenager Dad retired and we moved back to Mo. and like most teens I was a rebel running with the wrong crowd. Then after a five year failed marriage which bore me two daughters (that there mother never let me see) I fell into a fifteen year drug abuse and depressive abyss. During that time I became interested in severe weather. I bought a video camera in 93 and started chasing. At first I knew nothing,but I taught myself how to chase. The pros I met were no help and as soon as they found out I was uneducated they turned their backs on me. In 99 I teamed up with Lanny Dean and other friends of mine and formed "The OUTLAW CHASERS". I then built a probe called the CAMMANATOR DVP and started filming the inside of twisters and getting closer than others would. Now we are going to take the chase world by storm!
