Sky-Lyn is a young Puerto Rican lady born and raised in the city of Passaic, New Jersey who at the age of three was noticed to be a talented girl with no shame in her game. It was a very rare thing to notice about her because no one else in the family had this talent so it was appeared to be a gift from God. Sky-Lyn's grandfather was so amazed by her he would tell everyone he Knew about her and her marvelous talent. So he decided to bring her places so that she can be seen and recognized. Sky-Lyn has sang for many political events which she had the opportunity to meet governor Whitman, Hilary Clinton, and many others. One day at age eight Sky-Lyn was brought to central park wearing her rollerblades with a boom box because she wanted to sing everywhere she went. So when she got there she decided to make a show singing in her rollerblades which caused an audience of about two hundred people. Eventually someone from the Sally Jessy Rafael show approached her while she was with her grandparents and invited her to be a guest on the "I'm a young super star" show. When she went on the show she sang "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" by Selena and "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston which caused her to get a standing ovation. After that she was on the show about three more times. She then went on to perform on the spanish channel 47 and sang for many occasions like Christmas and the Fourth of July airings. Then she sang at the Apollo which was an experience that could never be forgotten and also had the opportunity to be in a competition in Nashville Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opery. Out of one hundred contestants all adults and only six children Sky-Lyn won second place which was okay for her. Sky-Lyn started to get recognized everywhere she went as the young girl who could sing. She never wanted to stop and always wanted to keep going. So she kept singing for many major events like festivals all over New Jersey and New York which gave her the opportunity to perform with Brenda K. Starr,The Barrio Boys and much more. She always ended up a show with the crowd screaming for another one. Sky always said "the more people the better." She also sang in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center at age 14 and won a competition singing "I Still Believe" by Brenda K. Starr The Mariah Carey version. She went back the next year and won again singing "All Cried Out" by Lisa Lisa the more updated version by Allure. She also appeared on the Queen Latifah show twice. Sky-Lyn then started to get more and more connections with people and was given a chance to open up the show for the "Power 105.1 Flip The Switch" concert. She was the opening act for Nina Sky, Ciara, Petey Pablo, Fat Joe, and Jadakiss in 2004. She recently featured on songs wit Dip-Set members Camron, Bezel, and Freekey Zekey. Sky-Lyn's goal is to show her talent to the world. She writes her own songs and has many different styles of music like R n B, Hip hop, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merrengae, Reggae, Bachata, alternative, and last but not least she gotta have the party music. She loves to be unique with her sense of style and she is thankful for all of her blessing. Sky-Lyn is now working on her own album! Comeing real soon so Stay tuned!
