About Me

The Antiquarian Society was set up as a non profit charity by Stuart Mason in 1999. The idea is to build an on-line community of like minded people that realize the importance of sacred sites & an altogether more gentle approach to living on our planet.Since its humble beginnings the Antiquarian Society has flourished into a thriving global community. The website includes Tasbase (a global megalithic portal of stone circles, alignments & sacred sites).Tasbase is for everyone so feel free to add any information or images you may have. The website also includes The Community Pages , which is an on-line community of people who share our ideals. The Out Of The Ordinary Festival (Ootopia) hosts music, entertainment, workshops & lectures based around the building of a working stone circle. The Out of The Ordinary is an eco festival powered by the wind & sun & is very family friendly. If like us you share a passion for stone circles, ancient sites, music and festivals please visit our websites
