------------------------------------------------- Biografia del gruppo/Band Bio------------------------------------------------- La Joe Busted Band nasce come idea nell’estate del 2004 ma prende forma come band stabile non prima dell’inverno del 2005. La formazione iniziale: Michel alla batteria, Joe alla voce, Franz alla chitarra elettrica e alla tastiera, Alessio al basso e Gordon alla chitarra acustica. Nel gennaio 2005 nasce la One Sweet Band, tributo alla DMB con Maurizio alla batteria e Samuele alla chitarra; arrangiamenti per chitarra e tastiera e volontà di creare un repertorio “rappezzato”nel minor tempo possibile. Nasce a settembre 2005 la Joe Busted Band. Joe & Franz conoscono Luca, giovane sassofonista toscano, il quale s’ interessa subito al progetto proposto con crescente entusiasmo. Poco dopo la band recluta un amico di Alessio e Franz di lunga data, Andrea, batterista eccentrico che subito sembra incuriosito dallo stile travolgente di Carter Beauford. Conosciuto anche Gianluca, violinista classico, La band inizia a preparare il repertorio e decide di iscriversi ad alcuni concorsi live nell’ambito dei comuni di Prato e Montecatini (PT). La band concentra le attenzioni sul sound che caratterizza gli show della DMB e sceglie di proporre arrangiamenti ispirati alle versioni live dei brani originali; nei contest invernali la band è affiancata a tratti dal pianista Federico e dal tastierista Simone.La band affronta il periodo successivo con il maestro di violino Fabio, il quale, all’inizio dell’estate, deciderà tuttavia di abbandonare il progetto. Tutti questi cambi di line up porteranno all’annullamento delle esibizioni durante l’estate 2006 e a ritardare inoltre l’autoproduzione di una demo. Per pura casualità nell’estate 2006 Franz conosce Jacopo (musicista appassionato di folk music) che diventerà il violinista definitivo della JBB. E’ con l’ingresso di “Rico”che la band riacquista energia e sicurezza e “completa” temporaneamente il repertorio utile ad uno show proprio. La Joe Busted Band è ad oggi una band completa e propone un repertorio volutamente ricco di brani che si sottopongono facilmente allo slancio di improvvisazione e al gusto per la jam session. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------The Joe Busted Band project grews up as a simple idea in the summer of 2004 but only in the winter of 2005 becomes a real and complete band. The first formation : Michel(drums), Joe(vocals), Franz(electric-guitar,keyboard), Alessio(bass), Gordon(acoustic guitar). Late on January 2005 the "One Sweet Band" DMB tribute band, joined by Maurizio(drums) and Samuele(guitar), with the idea of making a quick release of the typical sound of DMB. On September the "Joe Busted Band" comes up. Franz and Joe meet Luca, young tuscan saxophone player who seems interested in project and begins playing with them. At least Andrea (drums), an old friend of Franz and Alessio, joines the band, freaked by the Carter Beauford way of playing. After Gianluca(violin) comes into the band, the guys start preparing a setlist of songs in order to have gigs during Live Contests in Prato and Montecatini's areas. The JBB decides to follow the style of the DMB live shows and during the winter the band is sometimes joined by Federico and Simone on the keyboard. The following period Fabio replaces Gianluca as violinist in the band but in the 2006 early summer decides to leave the band because of personal reasons. All these "violinistic" problems slow down the demo cd auto-production and also become a problem for the summer shows. During the same summer Franz accidentally meets Jacopo (violinist also interested in folk music) who’ll become the last real JBB violinist. With the inmission of "Rico" the band gains energy and confidence and reaches to prepare a set list for a complete show. Nowadays the JBB is a complete and settled band who can offer a show based on songs chosen to underline the musical improvvisation and the taste of jammming according to the style of the original DMB.
