Everyday,
I think about dying.
About disease, starvation,
violence, terrorism, war,
the end of the world.

It helps
keep my mind off things.

Music:

I really dont have a music preference anymore. I use to but I've just lost touch with the world of music. My favorite bands are Korn, Zombie, Powerman 5000, Static X, and Disturbed. I pretty much only listen to music on the radio while driving to and from work. The stations I listen to are Real Rock 101.1 and XL 106.7 .

Movies:

[My Collection]
I have a huge movie collection. My favorite movies are Starship Troopers and Independence Day. I love dark movies like Donnie Darko, Dark City, The City of the Lost Children, and Johnny Mnemonic. My slight obsession with the post apocalyptic leads me to like movies such as Tank Girl, Mad Max, and The Postman. As you can see, I like a lot of the more obscure movies. Ever heard of Six-String Samurai, Prayer of the Rollerboys, or Bang Bang You're Dead? Oh, and I'm also a pretty decent anime fan. Netflix supplies most of my movie viewing needs. Blockbuster just doesn’t have enough selection.

Television:

Why is there never anything worth watching on TV? I guess it must be because of that writers strike a few months back. Oh wait, no, there wasnt anything to watch before that either. I think the blame ultimately lies in the progressive generations of sheep who grew up watching an MTV that doesn't play music videos. I think the the blame also lies in TV Execs who forsook the impact their mind numbing reality/elimination shows would have on society for profit and ratings. Why are doctors and scientist required to have ethics comities but not TV execs and politicians? Maybe I should just devote this wasted time to reading more. Television is on the way out anyway. Things are shifting to user submitted, online content. I'm getting, more and more, into online machinima. My current favorite is Afterworld on MySpaceTV.

Amazon.comI finished reading The Last Mimzy: And Other Stories by Henry Kuttner. It was a great book. The Mimzy story was awesome. They did a good job adapting it as a movie.

I'm now reading Jim Cramer's Real Money: Sane Investing in an Insane World by James J. Cramer.

Next on my reading list is Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson.

Heroes:

Jim Cramer, Bill Nye, Ray Bradbury, Nicola Tesla,
