About Me

Born in Providence Rhode Island, we moved to a farm in upstate NY when I was only seven. I remember this huge hay barn that we had wherin I had created a stage and made my first guitar out of fishing string, a 2x4 and an old wine case that was laying in the barn. The intonation was a bit off, but heck it worked in a pinch, and I spent a good deal of time playing to hay bales and pigeons. Later on, when the touring from the hay barn to the wood shed to the horse barn had gotten rather grueling, and had given way to the interest of dirtbikes and girls, my parents presented me with a beautiful acoustic guitar the likes of which I cannot describe. I do recall that it had some beautiful mother of pearl and glinted in the light underneath thier bed a week before Christmas.. I can remember that first strum of the strings and how it had struck me like nothing before. Too bad they hadn't witnessed the look on my face, but that strum changed me. Dirtbikes and girls took a backseat to what I was about to take on. 24 years later......
