Artistic director Ruckus (who smashed his way onto the scene in 2005 with ‘Let It Go’ featuring Ty, Klashnekoff and Yogi), will narrate this modern coming of age tale. Taking place in clubs nationally, and with a mix of huge hip hop anthems and hard-hitting freestyles, this is a show designed to capture the crowd’s attention.The ’Family Tree’ is a group of youngsters trying to find their place in the world. Each one of the friends takes different paths to each find what they’re looking for. Is success a financial reward or is success finding happiness within oneself. Some try education, some try crime, some do nothing and some get into their music. Ultimately some of the family tree flourishes and some fall victim in the quest, but the moral of the story is that happiness is achieved by being true to oneself and by having a positive proactive outlook on life. The artists involved in the shows will interact with each other with different songs expressing an event or chapter in the story.
