.. .... I am multi instrumentalist Siard de Jong and I live in Amsterdam. I play fiddle viola bouzouki mandolin wistles and sop-alto sax a.o.t.I Play with singer and exelent songwriter Danny Guinan for the last 10 years. I have been playing and recorded with, among others, Mike Hanrahan, Ronnie Drew, Sonny Condell, Keith Donald, Finbar Fury, Francie Conway, Sean Harkness, Chris Jones, Danny Guinan, Ailbe Grace, Extra Stout, Kieran Fahy, De Drie Tieten, Benny Jolink, Fling, Sara K, Fernando Lameirinhas, Rednexx, Ad Vanderveen, Allan Taylor and last but not least Within Temptation, who are conquering the world at the moment .I did fiddle and viola parts on their last two albums: The Silent Force(intro of Memories for instance) and The Heart of everything.At the moment I mainly play with Danny Guinan, doing some recording work (Stockfish label) and play Irish trad.tunes whenever I can.
