Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means, Time held me green and dying/Though I sang in

About Me

i have a job that puts me out in horse country. i won't say away from civilization, because there are a lot of people here way more civilized than i. or at least way more wealthy than i. and somehow it seems that civilized and wealthy correlate in my mind, although i'm not sure that's politically correct. i guess if we mean "civilized" like how explorers might classify the term--like having electricity, range rovers, and butlers, this area is the peak of civilization. and if your idea of fun is going to black tie regalas and laughing fakely over a glass of champagne while people ask you questions only to feed their gossipy minds and get you to invest in such and such, then hell, i guess i'm not having any fun here. however civilized it may be. really, though, i am having fun. even though i don't go to these black tie events. (okay, i went to one. the owner of the farm i work on bought 2 tables at a fundraiser event for a local shelter, and i went because her assistant was begging people to go when said owner ended up going out of town. i left as soon as it no longer seemed obviously rude to do so.) i get to work outside and not deal with the confines of an office job. the hum of fluorescent lighting really gets on my nerves after a while. i get paid to play around with shire horses all day. riding, driving, moving their bottom lip so that it appears as though they are talking/whistling/singing/cursing out one of my coworkers/other horse/me. i'm dissapointed that dc is over an hour away. i do love my job, but i'm yearning for the ease of entertainment and low fuel usage i had in philadelphia. my commute consists of walking down the stairs, but when i have to go into town to go grocery shopping, i put nearly 60 miles on my car. the great outdoors are wonderful, but damn do i miss philly.

You are deeply disturbed, and really should wear clothes while you dance. Then again, you arent someone most people would want to argue with. Or they may end up rubbing the lotion on its skin so it doesnt get the hose again.
