About Me

Christopher Dawes is a prolific composer of many styles of music. He has been commissioned to write choral works with orchestral accompaniment, but has also been hired to write personal love songs for many weddings and special occasions.Christopher is the composer of Eight full length theatrical musicals. He composed all the music for these productions, in addition to the libretto and script as well. Hundreds of local people have been cast and performed in these presentations and each new production has been enthusiastically received by thousands of people. Of these musicals Christopher says; "They were so much work, but each was a wonderful learning experience and a labor of love."Christopher also received several local and national awards for commercial jingles he has written and produced. He has also composed, performed and recorded musical scores for short films. Christopher has written and arranged many songs for other aspiring recording artists, and has a personal catalogue of hundreds of songs in many styles."There are so many songs that no one has ever heard, but me", says Christopher. "My next project is to bring those songs out of my head and record them for all to hear. I am so eager to share them with anyone who will listen. They will be in a style that not everyone has heard before. I call it EMERGE, for it will be the advent of many styles joined together."Watch for another website emerging soon which will be linked to this myspace, with lots of downloadable new songs from Christopher Dawes.
