Yukino's the last of the HoWLs, a band of elite assassins working for the underground clan of the Hiwataris. Her family was murdered at the age of 14 and she was taken under the wing of Satoshi Hiwatari because of her premonitional abilities. She can guest what happens next everytime they go after Dark. Yukino however have a surprisingly close relationship with Krad which makes Satoshi cold towards her. Yukino is not at school but she always gets Satoshi from school every afternoon and accompanies him to the museum every time Dark was supposed to appear.
