At various points I have: run a zine (Sty Zine) and record labels (Red Dawg and Rocknroll Blitzkrieg), hosted a radio show (Rocknroll Blitzkrieg), sang in a band (Short Eyes), worked at MRR and swim in the Grand Canal with nearly naked Turkish sailors. I've been to a revolution (Ukraine) and spent a month in the Mojave Desert on an Army base with soldiers preparing to go to Iraq. I covered Congress for a few months and now I'm back in the Bay Area. Finally. Now I'm a photo editor for a national magazine located in downtown San Francisco. First real job I've had since 2002 -- steady paycheck, insurance, the whole bit. I get to look at pictures all day. Not so bad, really.
