About Me

I am Louise. I am ungracefully getting used to not being a student anymore. Currently I work at Seven Stories (The Centre for Children's Books - note; it isn't a library, it's an accredited museum!) as a CAST member; this basically means doing everything front of house including being on reception, in the cafe, reading stories, facilitating craft activities and general running around. It is both fulfilling and draining in turn, but quite nice while I work out what to do in the longer term.I love music. My favourite thing in the world is going to gigs, I average 4/5 per month (aiming for the big 60 this year!) and am probably happiest when driving around the country hitting up random cities with my friends for gigs. Though I think I'd like to live in a city like Leeds or Manchester and be able to go to more without the big planning or petrol spends. Multiple shows by the same bands is where it's at. Especially when that band is Brand New. FOYD is a way of life.I like to watch films, lots of them. And read, also lots. And take pictures and scrapbook and write letters and pretend not to love NUFC even though I do and see my family and spend time by the coast and be a history geek and walk through cities lost in thought and make lists and mixtapes and learn and eat and laugh and articulate and go to the park and make collages and quote lyrics far too often and daydream and play my clarinet and saxomaphone and write rambles for myself. It's all busybusy.I just want to be happy. Maybe one day I'll be able to express that honestly in my words as opposed to expressing it through other people's. For the time being, Jimmy Eat World are doing a sterling job.You'll sit alone forever,
