L & L Affair

This duo consists of Lionel Randolph aka Secret Slim and Luther Shavers aka Lexx 1 two friends from Oakland, california. These talented performers go way back to thier high school days when they were members of a talented young band called The Chazz' Band. Although the band didn't survive it could not quench thier hunger for creating good music, music everyone could feel. Mr. Randolph has accumulated many successes in the industry from composing with the likes of The Temptations and many others in the industry, some up and comers u have yet to hear like female rap artist Tequila and others but u will. While Mr. Shavers persued a career as a firefighter, he never lost that fire to create great songs. These two friends took every oppurtunity to work together whether it be working on projects like 'livin in the ghetto' on tequila's project to several songs on Hercules and Big Tymes project to music scores on Freddie Rhones new movie coming out soon. Although you may find more techically precise vocalist and more adept musicians u will not find more heartfelt soul and honesty. They consider thier music as not old school, not new school but U school because as they put it , it's all about U. They'll make u laugh, they'll make u cry, they'll make angry and they'll make u feel fly. AS they put it"were on that ever illusive quest for a perfect song, the one that's undeniable and able to stand the test of time." Make no mistake, the quest will never end for these two talented brothers whether together or apart music will always be thier first love. As they always say"we may not be the biggest or the baddest around but u will feel us" As we all know music never dies,it comes back again and again just in different forms. They copy no one although u may hear the many muscal influences that made them who they are today from Eddie Van Halen to the great the crooners of the past.
