About Me

I'm back in S.E. Michigan and loving it so far. After 5 months in Gaylord with family and such, I miss it, to a degree. It is a great place to be in small doses. Now most anything I need is 5 minutes away, and my work commute is 15 minutes, instead on 1+ hours. Royal Oak is great, I didn't really know what I was missing when living on the East Side.My personal plan is very open, let's see where it takes me. I just found out that a buddy is 4 blocks away...scary.

My Interests

Everything and anything, from one time to another. Well, for better or worse, I tend to give 110% to whatever catches my attention -- until I get bored or something else sparks my interest.

I'd like to meet:

New people and old friends. "New people" preferably being female.

Music:

I can enjoy almost every type of music, depending on my mood and the situation. Even I can't believe some of the shit I have downloaded.

Movies:

Alone - Something I can just sit down, enjoy and fixate on. With Friends - Something good enough to fill the voids in whatever, but good enough to actually enjoy if need be, as is. Either way - Comedies usually, but a decent horror or suspense is great, too...but they are few and far between. When all else fails, anything with Al Pacino is a safe bet.

Television:

Sopranos, Lost (where the hell did it go?), Iron Chef, Anthony Bordain: No Reservations, Family Guy and sometimes some South Park for old times' sake.

Books:

Started to read many, but I have never really been able to follow through. Articles, clips and short stories are easier to stick with.

Heroes:

None to speak of specifically. But I have MUCH respect for the far and few between selfless/helpful/caring people I have encountered in my life.Take hellish jobs for shit wages that help people, volunteer regularly for what they feel are worthy causes, etc. Basically people that chose do something rather than talk about it on MySpace, like I am right now.

My Blog

Back to the D

Well - after 5 pretty good months in Gaylord, it's time to head back to the D.  The days of working in my pajamas are coming to a close.  For the most part, I have accomplished what I needed...
