In 2006 in six to friends discovered they had more in common then the music that brought then together. They had a passion for film. Co founder Lou Costello was working at a public access channel station. Lou quickly discovered his talent for editing and filming. Lou Shared his discovery. Friend and fellow founder Rob Yorz True Akins. True, once going to college for communications also knew a little bit about filming and working on a TV set. With the knowledge between them both and their passion for films they decided to create FilmsRus. FilmsRus started out as just a point and shoot company. Filming sporting events weddings partys etc. Then the duo decided to create there own show and broadcast on public access. The Name of the show was." What's Going on". Where Costello was the camera man and True was the host. they would interview artist up and coming as well as stars, entrepreneurs And anything that was new and up and coming. The Duo filmed several episodes but none of them ever aired. Then the two decided to take there love for music and films and started to shoot music video for local talent. An up and coming artist.
