OD was born in the Bronx as Odell J. Hobbs Jr. At the age of 9 he began writing songs and creating artist with pure imagination as a release from the struggle. It wasn’t until Odell moved to Englewood, New Jersey where he began pursuing a music career. He has been teamed with and also been mentored by Chad “Dr. Seuss, Rufus Black, BIG BUB, Red Head Kingpin, Brett and a host of local groups from New York City to Alabama. This producer, CEO, artist, and writer has the ability to keep your head bopping with a new mixture of all different backgrounds of music with authentic sound of tracks. He also continues to spit jaw dropping verses that are rarely heard from a producer.Odell is also the CEO of E.M.P. (Empirical Mind Productions) and Co-Executive of B.G.E. LLC. E.M.P. and B.G.E. are full solution providing a team of artist, producers, writers, managers and marketing strategist with a goal to set new trends and give the industry a strong force of talent that can break barriers and boundaries of what is being heard today.Currently Odell is a Producer and engineer for EMP studio.
