Hello, I'm the 1982 World's Fair. I took place in Knoxville from May 1st-October 31st in summer of 1982. I certainly left my mark in my short time around downtown. I brought nations from all over the world to raise hell in Knoxville for 6 months or so. Some hated me, some loved me, but they all knew I was around. Anyway, since it's been 25 years since then and I know so many people, I thought I'd join this myspace thing to see what happens. I'm also selling my t-shirts and such at West Towne Mall over the holidays. (OK...I'm a sell out, but so what?!? Proceeds are going to the East Tennessee Historical Society.
