Eric Penrod Group

After studying jazz guitar at the University of New Orleans, and studying at Kent State University in Ohio, Eric Penrod toured the United states for seven years with the pop-funk band "Skinny" (skinnyband.com). While touring Eric landed opening spots with Dave Matthews Band, Robert Randolph, Average White Band, and George Clinton and the P funk All-stars. Now off the road and based in Charleston, SC. Eric has focused his musical energy to his solo project, The Eric Penrod Group. Eric's new music is a blend of Jazz, Blues, Pop, and New Orleans Funk. Mixing covers and originals, Eric Penrod is touring the country spreading good times and smooth vibes.
