Motel Monster started in 2006 with some creative ideas from 2 guys (Gary Humphrey & Kevin Perry) for a new approach to music.The idea of this project was to incorporate electronic and acoustic sounds. Although we have been playing music for years we have never done anything like this before. So in doing so, it started with cheap instruments and tape recordings. As months pass and instruments became more advanced, ideas grew, and by this time there were 3 members adding our good friend, and brother Justin Perry to play drums. We spent most of 06 & 07 just figuring out how we want things to sound, with so many different ideas we had.But by the end of 2007 things kind of fell apart because of life's trails and tribulations and didn't start back up till late 2008. Currently there are three of us in the Band: Gary Humphrey Kevin Perry, & Justin Perry .The style of Motel Monster has formed into a soundtrack, progressive, experimental, aggressive sound with guitar,drums,synth,keys,bass, vox and other various instruments. With times changing for the better, so do we. We love playing music for the people that love to listen.No matter how hard times get we love music and love creating it. So there for Motel Monster will never die!
