Tammy Knickerbocker used to live in one of the biggest house in the gated community, but that was before she and her husband, Lou, lost their fortune from their lucrative business. Jeana Keough helped the family sell their luxurious former home when the couple divorced. Now, single mom Tammy is picking up the pieces of her life and is renting a 1.2 million dollar home in the community. Although still doing well, the family is not rolling in the riches as they once were and today live a more modest lifestyle.
Tammy and Lou have two daughters – Megan, 20, and Lindsey, 17. Megan represents everything the gated community's teenagers are not, and most recently she lived in the Inland Empire area with her boyfriend who raises pit bulls. Although she considers herself an OC rebel, she still feels the OC's pull as she talks about her breast implants and contemplates a nose job. Lindsey is adjusting to her family's new lifestyle, adapting to not being as wealthy as they once were and missing her old activities, including her horses and equestrian competitions. When her family had money, she was the prototypical Orange County kid, and was once close to Jeana Keough's daughter, Kara. The two girls drifted apart when the Knickerbockers fell on hard times. Lindsey also longs for the days when her family was intact. Tammy also has a four-year-old son, Ryley, from another relationship. A natural beauty, Tammy works as a loan officer and is understated compared to her Orange County counterparts.
