Andrew "Blaze" Thomas

His name is Andrew Thomas - but you can call him "Blaze" - and this Chicago native is rising to become one of the top drummers on the scene.
For the past five years Andrew served as drummer with the Bernard Allison Group, Ana Popovic Band, Shawn Kellerman Band, Nigel Mack and the Blues Attack, and a host of many others. Andrew can be seen and heard in Bernard's live performance CD and DVD called: "Engergized - Live in Europe", Chris Green and New Perspective's "Jazz", and New Miracle Temples "Hold On".
Also be on the lookout for Blaze's 2009 recording projects. They include Shawn Kellermans album "Blues Without A Home" which is a high energy blues rock record featuring Lucky Peterson on Hammond b3, Jason Ricci on Harmonica, and Joe Veloz on bass guitar. Ricky Weeds album (currently untiltled) is a blues, folk and rock record. Nigel Mack and the Blues Attack's third album is a blues, funk record (crurrently untitled). Also coming soon in 2009 is Ana Popovic's fifth album release currentley untitled.Prior to working with Bernard, Blaze was drummer for Chris Green and New Perspective, Liz Mandville Greeson and the Blue Points, New Miracle Temple church, Gypsi Fari, and many others .
