Theta formed in late 2006 with Gerard O' Doherty(guitars) Ryan O' Doherty(Bass) Steven Mc Cool(Vocals) and Chris Towe (drums). The band began working on original material from the offset.Working towards a progressive rock sound with a lot of melody.With a strong batch of songs the band decided to record their first E.P. So from the practice room to the studio with gigs to follow.
