I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a 25 year old philadelphia transplant that ocasionaly still feels like he's wearing a straw hat and bib overalls as he walks through the city. I make my living in television Set Design and Production because I love to laugh and I hate to sleep... I like to think that I sit right at the edge of where a guy becomes too geeky to be cute. But I've been know to vigorously debate what philosophical lessons comic books could teach us, so I've probably lept over that cliff long ago....I often drunk text people quotes from Mel Brooks movie... I love to exercise in theory...My friends are some of the best in the world (I know every 14 year old girls profile says the same thing but their friends can't even buy beer so I rest my case).... I tend to swear like a turrets victim when I play video games... I never lose trivial pursiut and I love rainbows....so there yah go, now you know me.

My Interests

Comics, Anime, Movies,I'm a closet geek, though I fear the closest may only have a bead curtain. In public I don't talk about it too much as a courtesy to others. But if truth be told I have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of comic books. I also attend Anime conventions every year and revel in every minute of it.

Music:

I love my local scene. I have trouble really getting into a band that I can't hang out with. But my music tastes swerve towards the geeky too. Moxy Fruvous, Dan Bern, Gorillaz, Clutch, Poe, and Tenacious D are just some of the examples of my strangly nebulous tastes

Movies:

Danm Where to start.... well lesse how many I can get out in one breath. Kill Bill Vols 1 &2, Boondock Saints, Akira, The Great Muppet Caper, Life is Beautiful, Waking Life, Requiem for a Dream, Memento, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Goodfellas, Casino, The Cooler, Fight Club, Master and Comander, Cube, Dissonance, Souls Intersection (just kidding, that movie sucked), Clerks, Silence of the Lambs, Rope, Rear Window and The Quick and the Dead. That's not a complete list nor even nesicarily my favorites.... but it's a taste.

Television:

Mythbusters is the best show ever created and I would compromise my ethics, morals, and sexuality to get to work on it.
