JOHN BUCKLEY McQUAID
Musician, storyteller, entertainer, painter, photographer, writer of fairy tales, film-maker. Born in Dublin, based in Denmark. Studied Architecture at University College Dublin - dropped out to play music. Played at countless Clubs, Schools, Libraries, Art Museums, Theatres and Festivals all over Europe. Released five albums of original songs. Mixture of many styles and influences ranging from Rock to Folk to Jazz to Classical music. Lyrically a cocktail of Chaos, Beauty, Philosophy and irrepressible Black Humour. At present recording an Album of songs based on his Irish Roots at Clive Culbertson's "NO SWEAT" Studio, Coleraine, N. Ireland.
Painted more than 500 paintings (not for sale), exhibited in Austria, Germany and Denmark.
