Elbow, The Shins, Built to Spill, Neutral Milk Hotel, Spoon, Death Cab, The Strokes, Wilco, Nada Surf, Sondre Lerche, Red House Painters, Ben Kweller, Joe Henry, Dizzy, Bird, Mingus, Charlie Hunter, Modest Mouse, The French Kicks, The Shipping News, Karate, Elf Power, Apples in Stereo, Pinback, etc... Locally I like: How I Became the Bomb, Slack, The Privates, Velcro Stars, Harper, The BGC, Finna, Fade, Cutter, Feable Weiner, HotPipes. Forget Cassettes, De Nova Dahl, Jetpack, Character, The Obvious, Verde, Girls and Boys, The ColeMen, The Jaun Prophet Organization, Michael Acree, The Features. After it's all said and done I still think my favorite music is extremely dirty funk. Listen to 91.1 Friday nights from 8-12 in the nashville area and you'll see what I mean.
There's just too much. Wet Hot American Summer, Sophia Coppala stuff, Spike Jones stuff, Aranofsky--you know...the new batman director (no I don't mean Christopher Nolen) Out of Sight, Punch Drunk Love, Wes Anderson, Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, Rad, it goes on and on.
Don't have a lot of time for TV. Everyone is busy watching Lost but I'm breaking the trend and watching Surface. I seem to be the only one though so my surface parties tend to be pretty lame.
Again not a lot of free time on my hands. I will be starting Harry Potter year 5 any day now though. Perks of Being a Wallflower. Bukowski is nice-still trying to finish Post Office though.
