About Me
Born, raised in the Catskills of NY State--did the usual, cheerlead, school paper, Student Council, all State chorus,School papers, band, majorette--- boys, boys, boys. I tell folks I'm a Happy Days kid. Knew some Potsys--my father wouldn't have let Fonzie thru the door--just on general principles.Am a historian/genealogist/writer/speaker/activist---do programs on American Indians in schools--pre K thru College, and beyond---Have an 1887 home, do my own decorating,yard pretty much. Like to read, go to movies, entertain, talk with/visit family,friends love to dance--but, that takes 2, usually!!! ..--am a big 2nd generation NY Yankees fan-head to spring training in FL when possible---and---ta da----daughter took me to NYC recently to see them one more time in their "real" Stadium-----like to ice skate-not around here, tho---siiiiiiiigh.help out a local farm---Spring I'm a "strawberry lady"---Fall--- the "cow lady"--last few years, got to hand raise little baby Holstein calves---each thought he was MY little boy--- all they saw, pretty much, felt caring for them, was me. Taught them to play soccer-or some kind of ball-- even taught them to mind!-----on weekends when we were alone early in the day getting ready for the tours-----played Willie, Johnny, Patsey-my Indian tapes. Wanna see a calf dance to Willie?Have lived in numerous states, Australia for a couple years. Written for newspapers, journals, magazine type stuff---Folks say I'm outgoing, talkative, interesting, friendly, helpful, funny--energetic, honest, a big pain, opinionated, stubborn, loyal and supportive---conservative, liberal, depends on the subject----take your pick.
