Basically down to earth music loving people and hat lovers of all ages and backgrounds. I'm a music freak and adore all genres of music and love small live shows as well as concerts. Would love to meet other community minded people, those that actually take action and not just sit around and talk about changing things.
I enjoy the company of people who see the world in shades of gray not just black & white. I dig people who crave knowledge and believe in life long learning (not necessarily formal schooling).
I like people who are passionate about living and look for the silver lining in all situations. I am drawn to witty and funny people. I don't care how darn hot you are - if you can't carry on a conversation, you're not going to get along with me too well in real life. I enjoy conversing with those who have different views than I do, I like hearing other opinions even if I don't agree. Sometimes doing that gives me another way of looking at things.
I'm disabled, a polio survivor now experiencing post-polio, so if you have a problem with that then don't add me. My body may be a bit different from others due to surgeries and fighting the polio when I was a child but all my parts work just fine. Some people automatically assume that because of my disability I can't have kids and other equally wrong assumptions. Never assume, I'm open about pretty much everything so if you got a question please just ask. Life is way to short to play guessing games. I am proud of who I am and you either take me as I am or you can go on your merry way. I've lived quite a lot in my short time on Earth and enjoy the company of those who use their brains. Intelligence is highly attractive. I care a lot about my family, friends and when in a relationship am fiercely loyal to my partner. I trust completely when you have won over my mind and heart and expect that the same trust is given to me. Communication and humour are a must for all my relationships whether it is family, friends or romantic. I never settle for less anymore, been there done that, didn't bother to buy the t-shirt but know I don't want to settle for any relationship. I deserve the best and the best will come to those who wait. I'm patient and have faith that everything will work out for me just fine :)
