Sounds Like: guitars talking to computers. mexican maracas. sharpie markers on beercans. guitar chord piano. alternative percussion ideas. ** the constant thought process that goes something like - "man, that's cool. run with it. damn, that sounds off. fix it. something else sounds off. fix it. is this worth fixing? is this still cool? man, i hate this." ** that being said, this is a 5 gallon bucket of songs and working up the nerve to share even a pair is like taking the training wheels off a bike and trying to ride it across the sea with a bag full of bowling balls. ** these songs were return to the cave again after a layoff. the idea was to take what are essentially rock songs and record them in an acoustic environment. ** these are a house full of old japanese guitars and adventurous tunings (open d and g, dadgad and drop g) with the idea that they could still form pop songs. ** these are my babies. don't feed 'em grown up food.
