Mechanism Of Eve

Mechanism Of Eve is a five piece rock band hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brought together in late 2006, the band's founding members, Orio (drums), John Powell (bass) and Justin Bradshaw (guitar) began writing music that flowed naturally from their combined creativity. At times brutal, at others serene, the songs reflected the personal emotions and frustrations of each individual. It was quickly noted that this project would be unlike anything any of them had ever been a part of. With a handful of songs prepared the band began searching for a vocalist. A short time thereafter, John Salazar was brought into the fold on lead vocals. His energy and presence were felt immediately. With his contribution, the songs became more aggressive while maintaining the emotional elements that the band felt to be of the utmost importance.
To date Mechanism Of Eve has been honored to share stages with Nodes Of Ranvier, Evergreen Terrace, Soilwork, I Am The Ocean, Clifton, The Funeral Pyre, Opiate For The Masses, The Bled, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Filter.
The current line-up of the band consists of Orio, Bradshaw and Salazar with Lindsay Panagakos on bass and Karl Deuble playing additional guitar. The band continues to combine jarring rhythms, dark atmospherics and volatile vocals to create moments of aural contemplation followed by drastic, almost violent shifts in disposition.
