I'm a single father of four kids, college to grade school. Additionally I have been a family therapist for 20+ years. In that time I have been a youth and family minister, a private practice therapist/mediator, run a school for at-risk teens, been a contract therapist working with families involved with juvenile court, a family therapist for a drug and alcohol treatment program, and I am currently the director of an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program. I think I have finally figured out what I want to do with my life. I have spoken to groups as small as two and as large as several hundred, regardless of the topic my goal was always trying to educate, inform and in the course of those presentations humor has always played an important role in connecting me to my audience, I take as a source of pride that if a kid “hasta listen to me” they don’t mind. For the last few years I have been doing standup comedy, as you may guess my life and career path has provided me lots of material. I am taking all that experience and putting it into Kids Today, a Family Cabaret, family entertainment that is truly for the family; grandparents, parents and kids.
