Imperial Beats Studio started in 1998, the original members were the FD Crew, Wireman, Dean, Springer, Demme B, Wilks and Dameon.
The first release was a jungle tune by Wireman and Dean, the tracks were made on OCTMED on the Amiga computer.
In 1999 Imperial Beats released the Second jungle E.P, back then we were still useing and Atari and Amiga computers with a Akia sampler.
In 2001 imperial beats released there 3rd E.P that was DEMONBASS 1, 4 different tunes all bassbeat (now dubstep!!!!) The main tune was Player Haters but the I Love riddim was a second hit on the E.P.
Now Dameons is on london Live and Direct radio with his MUSIC MAKERS SHOW, promoting Jungle, Dubstep, reggae and dubplate mixes from various studios and producers.
Now in a new studio with multi producers around plus much newer software and hardware and making jungle, bassbeat and reggae.
Dameon is the trainee engineer that stays focus on making music, evan sleeping at the studio 4 days a week.
In late 2002 Imperial Beats (demonbass records) banged out the 4th hit, the Demonbass 2 E.P that had the DARK ANGELS crew (VIGA, SHARKY BASS, JB AND THE CREW on the 2 tonne riddim, we pressed up 1000 and most of them went, there was nuff dubplate cuts for all the top djs like Plastic man, DJ Cameo, J da Flex, Dubplate Mex, Anti Social, DJ Iron, J Sweet, Treble T, Stylewise, Richie Vibe V, Rus Kronik, Rossi B, Master Steps, Westwood, and most garage and bassline DJs.
In 2007 we released a jungle E.P with the recut of 2000 style on it...just for DJs thoe..while making remixes and making beats still flowing hard.
Now in 2008 Imperial Beats has a family of music makers coming to the studio doing there thing...mostly mastering, remixing and making beats.
The next release will be I Smell Blood dubstep mix and the jungle mix on 1 side and 2 other tracks on the other side. We are still cutting and making dubs but now dubstep, jungle and reggae is what gets made most in the studio.
